Rising Royals Mentorship
Mission
Rising Royals is the youth empowerment pillar of Transforming Your Trauma, Inc., designed to support girls ages 7 to 16 through mentorship, leadership development, and community.
As an educator and a product of underserved communities, I saw a need for spaces where young girls are poured into, affirmed, and exposed to life beyond their environment. Too often, their identities are shaped by their struggles instead of their potential.
Rising Royals was created to change that.
Through mentorship and exposure, we provide access to confidence, leadership, and opportunities that expand how girls see themselves and their future. I was once that girl—and Rising Royals is my way of giving that opportunity back. Rising Royals is a love language to the girls who need to be seen, supported, and reminded that their story does not end where it started.

Why is Rising Royals Needed?
Today’s girls are navigating challenges that impact their identity, confidence, and future outcomes at alarming rates Without intervention, these challenges can limit confidence, decision-making, and future opportunities.

Rising Royals exists to interrupt these patterns.
We provide structured mentorship, exposure, and support systems that address not only academic and leadership development, but also identity, emotional wellness, and life direction. Many young girls lack access to consistent mentorship, emotional support, and leadership development opportunities that shape long-term success.
We believe that when girls are supported holistically, they make empowered choices, pursue higher education, and step into leadership with confidence.

Nearly 1 in 4 teen girls report experiencing persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness, a significant increase over the past decade.
The United States continues to see hundreds of thousands of teen pregnancies annually, disproportionately affecting marginalized communities.
Only about 60% of students from low-income communities enroll in college immediately after high school, with even lower completion rates.

Crown Her Future Fund
Every girl deserves to walk into a new school year feeling confident, prepared, and seen. Crown Her Future supports girls in the Rising Royals program with the essentials they need—from clothing and school supplies to mentorship and enrichment experiences.
